I think that I was bit by the travel bug the moment I realized I could fly on an airplane for eight hours without the world ending. For someone who used to have to take a tiny, little, magical pill to fly for fifty minutes.

I shocked myself when I continued to dream of far away lands, and actually made some of those places a reality. Don't get me wrong, I still have to walk on the plane with my right foot, talk myself out of the Final Destination nightmares I conjure in my mind, and sometimes kick back a whiskey or two or five, but the point is is that I build up that twenty seconds of insane courage, kick that fear in the junk, and GO!

This year has been chalked full of adventure. Sometimes with friends and family. Sometimes solo. Wherever, with whomever, traveling has become a part of my world!
