Dear Younger Self...

One would think that turning the BIG 3-0, I would be on the brink of a life crisis, upset with all the choices that I've made, wishing I was turning twenty instead. But, believe it or not, I didn't feel any of these things. Actually, I'm pretty proud of the thirty year old I am today, dammit! So, I wrote letter, featured in TOTE MAG, to myself, and all of our younger-selves, and the selves that are still growing, to let them know that it isn't as bad as you think. You did and will continue to do great things!

Dear Younger Self,

You made it. You’re thirty! Ten years ago, thirty seemed so far away, but here we are, thirty, flirty, and thriving. When I set out to write this letter, I thought I was going to look back and reflect on all the things I could have done differently. Instead, all I could think of were the things that I have done, and dammit, some I did really well. So, kudos to you, younger self, for evolving and growing into a well-rounded member of society. I bet you’re thinking, “How in the hell did we pull that one off?” Well, we did, and oh what an adventure. So here’s what you need to do…
